Biography:
With over 33 years of coaching experience in youth soccer programs across the United States and Europe, I have worked with players ranging from U-6 through High School Varsity levels. My coaching journey began in 1992 in the United Kingdom with the Department of Defense (DoD) Youth Sports Program. Since then, I have contributed to various programs in the U.S., including the Texas State Soccer Association South (TSSAS), American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), and United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA).
I currently hold an Intermediate AYSO Coaching License, a USYSA “E” License, a WVSSAC Coaching Certification, and an NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma. My coaching experience spans from recreational leagues to the highest levels of competitive youth play.
Notable achievements include serving as Head Coach for the Under-13 team that won the 2006 West Virginia State Championship, as well as leading the U-18 team to a runner-up finish in the 2008 WV State Cup. I began coaching High School Varsity soccer in 2007 at the opening of Washington High School, where I remained through 2018. During my tenure, the Patriots reached the WVSSAC State Championship Semi-Finals in 2010 and were State Finalists in 2012 and 2016. The program also secured six Sectional Championships and four Regional Championships under my leadership.
Currently, I am proud to be part of the Jefferson High School (JHS) Cougars coaching staff. Since joining, the team has shown continuous improvement, culminating in a 2024 Sectional Championship title.
I am passionate about youth development and am excited to continue contributing to the local soccer community. I look forward to working with all the young athletes eager to grow within our program.

Biography:
I was a 1990 graduate and 4 year soccer player at Linganore High School in Frederick Maryland. After High School I attended Shepherd College /University in the Fall of 1990 and played fours year under Shepherd Hall of Fame coach Mike Doran. I continued playing in adult leagues around the D.C. Metropolitain area until 2017 when I began coaching at Jeffersson High School. During my coaching tenure I helped the Varsity team win 3 sectional and1 regional title and the JV team go on a 33-0 win streak over 2020-2022.
